“Boots of Spanish Leather” - Bob Dylan
Although I Love Playing with my Watercolor Pencils, I just can’t seem to stay away from the Acrylics. I love the vivid detail I can pull from the Acrylic paint which really brings the art to life right before your eyes. Don’t get me wrong I do love the softness of tone and ambiguity of detail from pushing the watercolor pigment around on the paper, but this song is not a soft song. It is vivid with the brightness of hope and the depth of loss, therefore Watercolor just would not fully articulate the richness of this piece. That being said, I love this song! And I love that I’m knocking the dust off of my paints and falling back in love with my craft!!
